Any other Linux players having performance issues ? Even on lowest settings; no shadows and 1080P I am getting frame rates of 30-40 FPS. None of my hardware is being taxed much so it isn't lack of horsepower.
My System:
Intel i7-6700 | 16GB DDR4-3000 CL15 | XFX RX 590 8GB Fat Boy | Mesa 22.2.3 | Samsung 870 QVO 1TB | Garuda | Mate 1.26.0 | Kernel 6.0.12-zen1-zen | AOC G2460P 1920*1080 @ 144hz
Hey, thank you for bringing this up, we'll try to identify the issue on linux environment, and regarding the shadow, it is disabled when you're in lowest settings, but should run just fine the rest, but we'll take a look on that for sure
Oh no worries about the shadow, I was just clarifying I had them turned off to highlight that I was trying to run things as low as I could in order to maximize the FPS. Thanks for any help you can provide !
So I have some good news and bad news. Good news is I have since upgraded my CPU from the i7-6700 to an i5-12600K and now the frame rate issues are fixed. Even on ultra settings at 2560*1440 it didn't drop below 60 FPS. The bad news is that now if I set the graphics above "Low" the screen flickers constantly.
